Cindy Cassidy, PsyD, LP
Education:  Dr. Cassidy earned her BA in psychology from St. Cloud State University and her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the Minnesota School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University in 2006.  She specialized in child and family studies while at both institutions.
Credentialing:  Licensed Psychologist
Areas of Practice:  Outpatient psychotherapy with children (5+), adolescents, adults, and families.  Mental health assessments. Hannah the therapy dog is her helper.
Areas of Interest:  Trauma, including trauma stemming from childhood issues; parenting and family issues; anxiety; depression; health/medical diagnosis related issues; military/veteran; life transitions; stress management techniques; grief; autism spectrum disorders; and attachment/adoption difficulties.

Laura Henson, PsyD, LP
Education:   Dr. Henson earned her doctorate in clinical psychology from the University of Denver in 1990.
Credentialing:   Licensed Psychologist
Areas of Practice:  Psychotherapy: adults - individuals, couples, conjoint, and groups; psychological assessment; and consultation.

Jen Pohl, PsyD, LP
Education:   Dr. Pohl earned her PsyD in Clinical Psychology from Argosy University at the Minnesota School of Professional Psychology in 2007.
Credentialing:   Licensed Psychologist
Areas of Practice:   Outpatient therapy with adolescents, ages eleven and older, adults and geriatrics is provided with attention to cultural variables impacting treatment and functioning. Dr. Pohl is experienced in working with individuals who identify as GLBT and in incorporating non-Christian spiritual beliefs into therapy. Psychological assessments include, but are not limited to, evaluating intellectual functioning and pre-operative bariatric evaluations.  She is also the manager of BHSI in Fridley.
Special interests:   EMDR to treat trauma, including those experiencing dissociative phenomena, and treating co-occurring disorders.

Mark Stewart, MS, LP
Education:   Masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy (1988) from the University of Wisconsin-Stout.
Credentials:  Licensed Psychologist, Clinical Member of The American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy
Areas of Practice:  Outpatient psychological assessment and treatment of individuals, couples and families (age 6 through adult). Clinical interests in depression, generalized anxiety, panic, social phobia (extreme shyness), post-traumatic stress disorder, and relationship problems, including couples communication/ conflict resolution, codependency, delayed emancipation of young adults, impact of chronic illnesses, recovering from extra-marital affairs and coping with rebellious teens.  He also offers ADHD screenings (ages 6 through adults) and follow up educational/ behavioral treatment.

Jean Zerby, MSW, LICSW 
Education:   Jean received her master’s degree in Social Work, specializing in adolescents and family, from the University of South Carolina in Columbia. Her undergraduate studies were also at South Carolina, where she majored in psychology and Sociology.
Credentialing:   She has been certified by the Academy of Certified Social Workers since 1995.

Mark Kerekes, MD
Education:   Dr. Kerekes completed his undergraduate work at the University of Nebraska in 1986, then earned his MD degree at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 1990. He completed his Adult Psychiatry residency and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at the University of Kansas Medical Center in 1995.
Credentialing:   Board Certified in Adult Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
Area of Practice:   Broad outpatient child and adolescent practice with special interests in sleep medicine, health psychology, and sports psychiatry.

James McCoy, MD
Education:  Dr. McCoy earned his M.D. at the University of North Dakota School of Medicine in 1987. He completed his residency in General Psychiatry at the University of Southern California School of Medicine in 1991.
Credentialing:  Board Certified in General Psychiatry.
Areas of Practice:   Broad outpatient adult practice consisting mainly of psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and brief crisis oriented psychotherapy.

Leah Streitman, PA-C
Education:   Leah Streitman received her master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Augsburg College in 2015.  She holds a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul.
Credentialing:   Board Certified Physician Assistant
Areas of Practice:   Outpatient psychiatry, including diagnostic evaluations, consultations, and medication management.  Special interest in mood disorders, OCD and other anxiety disorders, and addiction medicine.
